Hard wax or soft wax — which do you use?
Both. We use both hard wax and soft wax techniques to provide an effective and comfortable hair removal experience. Each type of wax has distinct properties that make it better suited for certain areas and hair types. The choice between hard and soft wax depends on the treatment area, hair texture, skin sensitivity, and individual client preference—neither option is universally “better,” and comfort levels can vary significantly from person to person. How long does hair need to be before I can get waxed?
Typically at least 1/4 inch — roughly the length of a grain of rice, or about 2–3 weeks of growth after shaving. Too short and the wax can't grip properly; too long and it can be more uncomfortable (we can trim if needed). Avoid shaving between appointments — it disrupts the natural growth pattern that makes waxing progressively easier over time.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
All services are by appointment only — this is a private, one-on-one studio, not a walk-in salon. You can book online here or call/text 519-817-7919. Booking ahead means your time is fully protected — no waiting, no interruptions.
What are your hours?
Tuesday 9am–5pm, Wednesday through Friday 9am–9pm, Saturday 9am–3pm. Closed Sunday and Monday. Evening appointments Wednesday through Friday make it easy to come after work.
